Don't forget to check out our new rock video of our song "Underground" on www.youtube.com Poobah or www.myspace.com poobah. We love the great job Jon Defibaugh did, filming the video.
Our trip to the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was amazing! On Saturday Poobah played outside the front door of the Museum on the cement stage ,and was joined at the end of the set by Joe Bouchard (original Blue Oyster Cult member). On Sunday the show was inside the Rock Hall Museum 4th floor theatre,(where MTV films their concerts) and Poobah rocked, and was filmed. At the end of the set Poobah was once more joined onstage by Joe Bouchard again !!! Also,Dennis Dunaway from the original Alice Cooper band played a great set with his new band. The crowd went crazy for the bands, and it was an experience we will remember for a long time .Many thanks to Goldmine magazine for putting on such an incredible event at the Cleveland Rock Hall. Goldmine is going to review the new Poobah CD, "No Control" in an upcoming issue. You can see the" No Control "CD at the STORE LINK here on this site.
The Goldmine Magazine National Record Show at the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, August 4th and 5th was a blast!.I got some great deals on some cool CDs. Poobah bassist Woody Hupp and drummer Steve Richards had a great time playing the Rock Hall again, and guitarist Jim Gustafson really enjoyed himself at this very fun event, again ! Poobah likes holding the world record for most live shows at the Rock Hall.
The National Record Show is always so much fun. Poobah was so excited to jam with Joe Bouchard from the original Blue Oyster Cult, which happened right after Poobah 's set at the Rock Hall on Saturday and Sunday. It was great to get on stage with this rock legend and jam out some cool tunes. And, what better place than the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame !
Poobah is also nationwide this week in Goldmine magazine ,with Janis Joplin on the cover. This issue includes a photo of Jim Gustafson - Poobah and info on the National Record Show .It was s really cool event, and just a heck of a lot of fun for Poobah! Rockin' the Rock Hall for the 12th time !!!
POOBAH has now released the new rock video of the song "Underground" from the CD of the same name. It turned out very nice ! YOU can see it at: www.youtube.com (Poobah) or www.myspace.com/poobahband (videos) . It was done quite nicely by Jon Defibaugh, from NBC affiliate WTAP.
Joe Bouchard from the original Blue Oyster Cult ,is now added to the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame shows with POOBAH, and will also sit in with Poobah during their live set!!! This will be filmed in High Definition ! We can't wait for August 4th and 5th at the Rock Hall!!!

A picture of Poobah guitarist Jim Gustafson appears nationwide this week in Goldmine Magazine ,issue 702, with the Beatles on the cover, dated June 22,2007. The photo is on page 67, and is a promo for the Poobah shows at the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame- Goldmine National Record Show. This is the first of lots of issues of Goldmine ,that will feature Poobah, including an upcoming feature story on Jim, Woody Hupp ,and Steve Richards in the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame show issue. Jim says he has always wanted to be in a nationwide magazine with the Beatles, so this dream came true for him !

Another band has been added to the show. Deadbeat Poets features members of the Stiv Bators band (Deadboys-punk legends), and Blue Ash.They will appear at 1pm on Saturday,Aug. 4th, shortly before Poobah takes the stage(estimated time 2:30 for Poobah show ). We hope to see lots of you there both days for this free event!

Poobah taped footage last week for a rock video ,for the song "Underground"" from the CD of the same name. Director Jonathan Defibaugh actually filmed the footage in Jim's back yard, and driveway ! Neighbors wondered what the heck was going on, as the boys in the band ,Jim Gustafson on guitar, Woody Hupp on Bass, and Steve Richards on drums ,played thru the song many times. What we have seen so far is just really cool, and well done on the crew's part. We can't wait to see the final draft. We will be posting pictures of it soon. (A photo still from the video is now up on pictures on this site!)
UPDATE: Poobah video is now at myspace.com videos Poobah check it out !
